Every year, there seems to be new healthy foods that the food experts proclaim as the latest and greatest superfoods for your kitchen.

The word superfood isn’t anything more than a buzzword that signifies that these healthy foods contain important minerals, vitamins, and phytochemicals that are optimal for your health. Some superfoods are loaded with a wide range of nutrients.

There are many superfoods that are praised for your healthy diet, including quinoa, chia seeds, kale, acai berries, salmon, sweet potatoes, broccoli, eggs, and blueberries. Over the years, these superfoods have become common practice for the everyday health nuts and well-being aficionados. Oh, and yes, nuts are also superfoods, including walnuts, pistachios, and almonds.
