Since her first walk in 1999, the Brazilian bombshell has not only earned her VS wings, but has also become one of the brand’s ultimate ambassadors. With her trainer Michael Olajide, Jr., Adriana Lima achieved the impossible when she had to walk the Victoria’s Secret ramp in 2012 just after having her second baby! She maintains her incredibly fit and toned figure with five workout moves.
Boxing: She shadow boxes to help keep her arms toned.
Squats: The leggy model gets those toned legs with reps of thigh-burning deep squats.
Core twists: She owes her flat, defined stomach to core twist exercises.
Obliques: She tones her abs with side crunch isolation exercises.
Stretches: She does a good amount of stretching to release the lactic acid build from the hard workout.
The HIIT Way: This workout is one of the main routines in her workout regime. HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) involves repetitions of exercise with high-intensity followed by small less intense exercises. She makes use of jump ropes during HIIT to increase her cardiovascular and athletic capacity which accelerates fat loss and tones the body effectively.
Capoeira and Yoga: Adriana Lima also performs Capoeira, a Brazilian form of martial arts that combines dance and music with high speed and power. She also does yoga which gives her the required flexibility. In addition, spinning and jogging are also a part of her workout schedule.
