Demi Lovato Shows off Her Stunning Abs on Instagram, Diet Secrets Revealed

Breathtakingly beautiful, Demi Lovato, flaunted her well-toned abs on Instagram recently. She wore a neon sports bra and black leggings and posted a mirror selfie of herself on her Instagram account. In the photo, she is seen smiling at her phone.

She posted, “Putting in WORK this holiday season in my @skechers.” Her message is a good reminder to put time aside for working out during this holiday season. The singer, who is the face of Skechers, added the hashtag, “#skechersdemistyle.”

The celebrity who has 51,100,000 fan followers on Instagram, also posted a video on Instagram. She is seen rocking from side-to-side in the video and seems to be admiring her reflection on the phone.

Many of Lovato’s fans are inspired by her fitness journey. She said, “I have been working on myself …,” and added, “… part of that journey was working out and eating healthy and learning how to truly embrace a full lifestyle change.”

Demi Lovato’s Fitness Secrets

Demi Lovato knows it is important to maintain a healthy lifestyle. She said, “I realized I’d rather be strong and happy than be what society thinks is thin and perfect and be miserable.” Lovato likes working out. She said, “Exercising has been so important for my recovery, both physically and mentally.”

Her Instagram feeds are filled with photos and videos of her workouts. For example, this post which was captioned, “Always finish with a bang #unbreakable.”

The singer likes boxing workouts, and she also includes yoga, cardio, jogging, running on the treadmill. She incorporates strength training by performing squats, lunges, push-ups, and pull-ups. She feels that working out has helped her gain both energy and endurance.

During tours, she likes to team up with singer, Christina Perri, to work out. Both the singers are huge fans of SoulCycle, and Lovato said, “It’s superfun, and we usually drink a green juice or protein shake afterward and talk. It’s nice to get some quality girl time in, too.” She also does three sets of strength moves with her trainer, Pam Christian, when she is on tour.

How does she keep herself motivated to exercise? She says, “… a good play list.”

Demi Lovato’s Diet Plan

Lovato feels that eating healthy is both an essential and a priority. She likes to follow a structured meal plan and she eats four small meals and two snacks a day. She said that she likes to follow portion control and is lactose intolerant.

Her favorite meal consists of a turkey patty in a lettuce wrap with vegan cheese, ketchup, tomato, and a side of sweet potatoes. She also likes to have tacos made with ground turkey and spinach on a corn tortilla topped with lettuce, hot sauce, and vegan cheese.

She also follows the recommendations of her nutritionist, and tries to consume carbohydrates only after workouts. Having carbohydrates post-workouts helps with faster metabolism.

The singer also adopted to cooking her own meals and whips up scrumptious meals.  Here is one of her healthy lunch recipes.

Mango Shrimp Salad Recipe

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups Salad shrimp (thawed)
1 Mango (cubed)
1/3 cup Greek yogurt
1/2 Avocado (cubed)
3 Tbsp. Cilantro (chopped)
1/4 cup Red onion (chopped)
1/4 tsp. Garlic powder
3 Tbsp. Lime juice

Method:

Combine Greek yogurt, cilantro, and lime juice. Lightly toss remaining ingredients in the yogurt (dressing), adding the avocado last to avoid mushing it up. Chill for two to three hours. Serve in your favorite tortillas or on a sandwich.

Nutritionists believe that cooking your own meals can help with including healthy ingredients which in turn helps with the weight loss. Lovato also stays away from alcohol. She drinks bottled water, diet soda, or sips on a red bull instead.
