Rumors are rife about Fifty Shades star Dakota Johnson’s dating life, although it is still not clear who she is dating. The media has spotted Johnson a couple of times with Cara DeLevingne. There are also reports that the pair’s friendship has taken a romantic turn.
Some reports claim Johnson is secretly dating co-star Jamie Dornan, and they are waiting to announce their relationship on the premiere night of Fifty Shades Darker next February. Dornan is reportedly jealous of Johnson’s closeness to DeLevingne.
Despite the rumors, Johnson ensures she maintains a healthy lifestyle and stays looking incredible. She shared the diet and workout routine she opted to use for the film.
Johnson’s Juice Diet
Johnson opts for healthy options rather than junk ones. She prefers sipping nutrient-laden raw fruit juices, and has gotten rid of unhealthy processed foods.
She likes to drink juices made of apple, lemon, ginger, orange, and cucumber. She orders juices from The Juice Box, an organic cold-pressed raw juice company based in Vancouver.
Johnson, who plays Anastasia Steele, needs to remain active and in good shape to look like the character.
She told Access Hollywood, “I thought beforehand that I would get in shape because mostly like, it was kind of athletic shooting those scenes. You weirdly need endurance. But also, I wanted Ana’s body to look like that of a fairly active college student.”
These juices shower her with multiple benefits including detoxification and provide her with ample energy to stay active throughout the day.
An insider told E! News, “This will be a tough movie to film. They have locations that are spread out and they will be filming for three months.” He went on to say that “They are sometimes starting as early as 6:30 a.m. and there are long hours. The juices help them feel great and maintain a high nutritional intake. They energize you and you don’t get the same crash with sugar or coffee. It is a more sustainable energy level.”
Johnson’s Workout Routine
Johnson wanted to look good naked. She was never a big fan of exercise and did it for the first time for Fifty Shades of Grey. She was astonished by the amazing results. She admits that her health improved after she started working out—she never thought they would make her feel so amazing.
Johnson worked with trainer Mari Winsor. Winsor has said, “Dakota has been coming into the studio since the middle of January almost every day.”
She likes Pilates, which help her tone her body and relieve stress. Winsor says, “Pilates is changing her body, relieving her stress. It’s a private place for her to come and do the work.” She also adores cardio, especially running.
Johnson works out for five days a week for one hour each day. Her trainer says she does everything including the reformer machine. She loves doing leg sprints. An hour of working out helps her burn from 400 to 500 calories.
