Justin Bieber’s ex-girlfriend, Hailey Baldwin, underwent a detox diet to prepare for New York Fashion Week. The model also enjoys yoga and Pilates in order to get in shape for the runway.
She noted that she was on a metabolic detox, which she describes as a means to reset her body before she enters the craziness of excessive travelling and running around for fashion shows.
The specifics of the detox diet aren’t too clear, but she’s revealed that it involved 10 days of taking supplements and making changes to her diet. She told People, “It’s like a cleanse that you have to do with like protein powder and all this different stuff and you have to eat a certain type of way. I eat healthy regardless but it’s very much more scaled down.” The model amped up her intake of fruits and vegetables, or what she calls “clean food” during the detox.
To accompany the cleanse, Baldwin made sure she was getting an ample amount of sleep. Whatever plan she’s on, she definitely looks amazing. Many experts speak out against cleanses and detoxes, as they can be harmful and mess up the body.
It’s important that people don’t go on long-term cleanses, especially juice cleanses as they can lead to nutrient deficiencies. The body is naturally designed to detox itself, so as long as you’re eating right and living a healthy life, the organs that are intended to aid in detox can perform their function.
Hailey Baldwin’s Diet and Fitness Plan
Baldwin works incredibly hard to ensure that she’s eating well and working out regularly, and unlike other models who brag about eating pizza and other fast-food staples, these items do not end up in Baldwin’s diet. Her diet does consist of fruits and vegetables, fish, minimal meat, and minimal dairy.
Her workout routine mainly consists of yoga, Pilates, and barre, which is what her killer abs can be attributed to. Because Baldwin used to be a ballet dancer, she finds these types of workouts most enjoyable, and it’s important to enjoy your workouts so that you stick with it.
At the end of the day, Baldwin is human and has her cheat days, which usually end up with her eating a burger and fries.
Hailey Baldwin seems to have a good balance in her life when it comes to food and exercise. To be a supermodel, you must always look your best, and she manages to achieve that with regular exercise and healthy eating. She doesn’t deprive herself and occasionally allows herself a cheat meal to ensure balance.
