Warm on medium-low for 10 to 15 minutes. Whisk occasionally. During the last three minutes, whisk continuously to avoid simmering. You want it hot (not boiling). If the mixture does start to simmer, turn the heat down.

Remove from heat and place in refrigerator overnight. It will thicken as it cools. When ready to drink, whisk it to mix together. If it is too thick for your liking, whisk in more milk. Pour into cups and sprinkle with cinnamon.

Swerve Simple Syrup: Mix 1/2 cup Swerve Sweetener with 1/2 cup water. Heat in a small pan over medium heat. Stir until dissolved.

Truvia Simple Syrup: Mix 3-1/2 tablespoons Truvia Sweetener with 1/2 cup warm water. Shake or blend until completely dissolved. Store refrigerated.
