Eggs 101: How to Boil Easter Eggs

You can always use the dyeing kits available in stores to color eggs. But, it’s about making that perfect hard-boiled egg, which can be tricky at times. Below, you will find some simple guidelines on how to boil Easter eggs.

Instead of fresh eggs, choose eggs that are about seven to 10 days old.

Ingredients: 

  • 12 eggs
  • Vinegar
  • Water
  • Large pot

Directions

Put a cooking pot with water over medium heat. Gently place the eggs in the water. Add a tablespoon of vinegar to the water. Boil the eggs for 12 to 15 minutes.

Turn off the heat and drain the water. Let the boiled eggs sit in cold water for seven to 10 minutes. Next, to peel them off perfectly, lightly crack the egg and peel under cool, running water.

And voila! You have 12 perfectly hard-boiled eggs ready to be colored and decorated as you wish.
