Irina Shayk and Bradley Cooper are taking some downtime from their busy lives and enjoying a romantic Italian vacation this summer. The A-list celebrity couple showed off their beach bodies near Lake Garda. Shayk’s supermodel body was covered only by a tiny yellow bikini; on another day during the trip, she wore a black bikini. Cooper, on the other hand, displayed his physique in bright orange and black swim trunks.

What keeps the good-looking couple in top shape? Both celebrities follow diet and workout plans that help them exceed at their careers.

Irina Shayk Diet Plan and Workout

Irina Shayk was the first Russian supermodel to be the cover girl for the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue. In 2011, she was also voted the sexiest woman in the world by Hungarian magazine Periodika.

Shayk has a stunning figure, there’s no denying that, but she has to work hard to keep it. She recognizes that she has good genes, but believes in pushing yourself by going to the gym. She usually works out five times a week, avoiding exercises that lead to an overly muscular body; some of her favorite workouts include Pilates, boxing, and cardio exercises such as cycling and jogging.

Shayk also doesn’t believe in dieting. Most of the time, she eats healthy, but she also doesn’t want to deprive herself of her cravings. Some these guilty pleasures include hamburgers, pizza, and chicken nuggets. She says she has cheat days twice a week. Other times Shayk drinks water, fresh green juices, and green tea throughout the day, and she stays away from caffeine. Whole fruits, vegetables, and soups also are part of her healthy diet.

Bradley Cooper Diet Plan and Workout

Bradley Cooper follows has a strict diet and workout regimen—he wasn’t named the sexiest man alive by People magazine in 2011 for nothing, after all.

Cooper worked with celebrity trainer Jason Walsh to get him into shape for American Sniper, and he needed to gain 40 pounds of muscle for that role. He did so by eating 6,000 calories per day. He ate high-calorie healthy choices such as coconut, flaxseed, almond, honey, avocado, walnuts, and chia seeds, and got protein from foods such as chicken, meat, turkey, and eggs. He even ate burgers and pizza to maintain his caloric goals when he needed to.

If he doesn’t need to gain weight for a role, Cooper stick with other healthy choices such as green vegetable juices, smoothies, and soups instead of processed foods. He also consumes water and green tea instead of alcohol, coffee, and black tea.

What about Cooper’s workout? His favorite exercise is something called a 3-2-1 workout. It’s a total-body workout that consists of three parts done in combination: cardio, strength training, and core exercises. That is, you do three segments of cardio, two segments of strength training, and one segment for your core. It can be done in 30 minutes.
