Kate Upton has been known in the modeling industry for her curvy body that didn’t fit the standard model frame, and women and men alike love her for it.

But with her upcoming wedding to Justin Verlander, Upton has been following a new workout routine and wedding diet over the past year to prep for the big day.

Model and actress Kate Upton hit the scene in 2011 when she starred in a friend’s YouTube video, which has over two million views to date.

She didn’t break into modeling the standard way, by appearing on runways for some of the top fashion houses, nor was she discovered by a famous photographer who could help launch her career.

She rose to the top by gracing many Sports Illustrated covers and being savvy and present on social media—she currently has over two million followers on Twitter.

How Did Kate Upton Dramatically Change Her Figure?

The bride-to-be has made incredible changes to her physique and is sporting a much leaner and tighter frame. Her trainer, Ben Bruno, credits her new look and success to her tough workouts, which she does five days a week for an hour or two a day. A lover of sweet treats, Upton has made important changes and is a following a wedding diet for her upcoming nuptials to Justin Verlander, which includes curbing her sweet tooth. Apart from cutting back on sugar, Upton is eating more protein at almost every meal, and fruits and vegetables are daily mainstays. Processed foods have also been cut back. These days, one of her favorite meals is chicken, turkey meatballs, and salad.

The changes Kate Upton has made to follow her strict wedding diet have provided her with incredible changes to her physique, so she will certainly look fabulous on her wedding day to Justin Verlander, though she was a bombshell to begin with. But, ultimately, weight and appearance are about what makes each of us happy and comfortable, so all power to Kate’s recent weight-loss endeavors.
