Kristin Cavallari Credits Paleo Diet for Fit Body; Loves Turkey Sandwiches, Eggs, and Salads

Kristin Cavallari is a self-proclaimed food freak. She follows the Paleo diet and loves it as she can enjoy yummy turkey sandwiches, eggs or salads regularly. Kristin Cavallari has shared some of the reasons why these foods are healthier than fast food and how they contributed to her smokin’ hot beach bod.

The star of The Hills recently received some hate over social media. After posting a picture of her two boys playing at the beach, the comments flooded in, saying that they looked too skinny and that she was starving her kids.

Cavallari snapped back with some sarcasm and then proceeded to block the offending individuals. This makes many wonder if the obesity epidemic in America is so rampant that healthy children appear to be “too thin.”

Kristin Cavallari’s Workout and Diet Tips

Kristin Cavallari does not shy away from expressing her love about the Paleo diet. She’s an advocate for eating clean and staying away from processed foods, stating that she always reads labels and refuses to eat toxic chemicals. The TV personality says her breakfast is usually a smoothie or eggs, while lunch is a salad or turkey sandwich. She also loves having nuts or dried cherries, and apples with almond butter as an afternoon snack.

She’s also a fan of avocados with olive oil and sea salt, and that she uses a lot of coconut oil. Many of her diet and success secrets can be found in her book, Balancing in Heels: My Journey to Health, Happiness, and Making it all Work, some of which include not counting calories and doing lots of yoga. Her workouts are also targeted to condition her legs, thighs, and derriere, so she does lots of squats, lunges, crunches, and weightlifting. She also incorporates Pilates into her workout to build up her core.
