Reese Witherspoon, star of Legally Blonde, was spotted jogging for her workout while out in Brentwood on Tuesday. Witherspoon is looking pretty fit, and with such a toned body—you know her fitness routine is working wonders for her.
So what does it take to keep Witherspoon looking great? Here are some of Reese Witherspoon’s fitness tips so you can (hopefully) achieve a similarly- toned body.
Reese Witherspoon’s Fitness Tips
Witherspoon may be a 38-year old mother, but she still manages to look toned. Although she works with a personal trainer, there are some surprisingly simple—yet effective— exercises she does to keep fit.
Part of Reese Witherspoon’s workout routine may include hiking. In an interview with Shape, Witherspoon’s former trainer says he encouraged Witherspoon to hike while lifting weights!
Hiking is a great way to sneak in exercising because it doesn’t feel like exercise. With all of the amazing scenery around you, finding a great hiking trail can keep your mind off of the fact that you are actually working out.
To take your hiking trip up a notch, do what Reese apparently did: bring along some light dumbbells so you can work out numerous body parts simultaneously. To finish your hike, complete some stretches or yoga poses. Not only will this workout be more enjoyable, but you should see results pretty quickly.
While hiking, try:
- Lunge walking with bicep curls
- Walking with doing overhead shoulder presses
- Walking while conducting triceps extensions.
The possibilities are endless if you hike while lifting weights!
