Rihanna is in no way shy about her body and showing it off; sheer outfits are some of her favorite choices for red carpet events. She embraces her curves and works hard to keep her body toned and tightened. So what exactly is on Rihanna’s diet plan and what are some of Rihanna’s favorite foods? You may be surprised to discover that she eats what she wants, and even indulges when she feels like it.

How can she do that? The gym. Rihanna hits the gym almost every day because she doesn’t want to restrict her food choices; in particular, she seems to love pasta. She’s been known to order three types of pasta dishes at a time and finish them all (they’re half-dishes, though). Regularly working out for an hour almost every day allows her this indulgence.

What are Rihanna’s favorite drinks? She apparently loves a good Jameson and ginger cocktail. Her favorite desserts are allegedly chocolate ice cream and cheesecake. Rihanna’s diet plan, while healthy overall, does account for her calorie-filled food choices and love of junk food.

Rihanna’s Favorite Recipes!

To celebrate appearing on the cover of Esquire’s December 2014 food and drink issue, Rihanna shared some of her family recipes with the magazine’s readers. Two of those recipes are listed below.

Rih’s Garbanzo Bean (Chickpea) Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 cucumber, peeled and sliced
  • 2 tomatoes, vine-ripened, sliced
  • 2 cups garbanzo beans, cooked
  • ¼ red onion, thinly sliced
  • 4 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 4 basil leaves, large, chiffonade-style
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

1.On a plate, arrange the cucumber, tomatoes, and beans.
2.Add red onion, season with salt and pepper, and drizzle olive oil.
3.Top with basil.

Mac A Rih’s

Ingredients

  • 1 pound small elbow macaroni
  • 1 medium white onion, grated
  • 1 red bell pepper, julienned
  • 6 spring onions, sliced
  • ¼ cup yellow mustard
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 1½ tbsp Eaton’s Jamaican Scotch Bonnet Pepper Sauce
  • 2 pounds Colby-Jack cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup water
  • Salt

Instructions

1.Cook the macaroni and drain. Leave some water in the pot, a quarter-cup or so.
2.Place the macaroni back in the pot and return it to the stove.
3.On low, add the onion, bell peppers, and half the spring onions, and mix together.
4.Once combined, add the mustard, ketchup, and hot pepper sauce.
5.Add the cheese a handful at a time and incorporate. If the sauce is too stiff, add more water to loosen.
6.Top with remaining spring onions and serve immediately.

If you’re so inclined, try washing it down with that Jameson and ginger cocktail. Bon appétit!
