Teen Mom 2 Star Chelsea Houska Instagrams Baby Bump, Follows Healthy Diet and Workout during Pregnancy

Chelsea Houska from Teen Mom 2 and her long-time lover Cole DeBoer tied the knot earlier this month on Oct. 1in a private outdoor ceremony with their closest family and friends. Houska, who also showed off her baby bump on social media recently, is proving that you can still be healthy during pregnancy.

The teen mom made it a priority to get in shape after having her daughter Aubree, and she continues to follow a healthy lifestyle. Here is a look into how she does that.

Chelsea Houska gave her fans a sneak peak of her intimate wedding ceremony and she looked absolutely beautiful dressed in a long, lace dress topped with a flower. Her daughter Aubree was close by as she tied the knot and sealed her nuptials with a kiss.

So, how does Houska stay fit? For starters, she is not obsessive about her weight but does like to keep healthy and stay active. Before her most recent pregnancy, she liked to do CrossFit training three days per week and two days of boxing. These high-intensity workouts helped her keep her heart rate up and also helped her burn excess calories.

Houska enjoyed drinking beer or eating junk food in the past when she wasn’t pregnant, but she reportedly cut most of that out when she decided to make a lifestyle change. She makes healthy food choices that are high in protein and low in carbohydrates to keep a slim figure.

Apparently, Houska has also followed the Paleo diet in the past, although it’s not clear whether she still follows it now. The Paleo diet is a high-protein diet that excludes dairy, grains, and processed food. The majority of the diet is fruit, veggies, and fish, chicken or red meat. She also tries to avoid excess sugar in her diet, as it converts to fat and is also really bad for your health.

Houska has also done something called the Whole30 diet, where she ate only lean proteins, eggs, veggies, nuts, seeds, and healthy fats and oils and excluded alcohol, legumes, dairy, and preservatives like MSG and sulphites. She likes to experiment with different meal plans or “diets,” and many people do try cleanses like this to rid their bodies of toxins and start fresh. Many people like to do these kinds of cleanses in the springtime, but it is unknown when Houska started it and how regularly she does them.

Although her exact pregnancy diet is unknown, it’s not a stretch to assume that Houska is eating healthily, judging by her enthusiasm towards healthy living in the past. She may not have excluded all those things from her diet, as she is eating for two now and needs to feed her baby all the necessary nutrients, but she may still be avoiding processed and junk foods and choosing whole foods instead.

She seems to be glowing and in a really good place now that she is happily married and has baby number two on the way. Congratulations, Chelsea!
